The Book Bucket - Redcliffe is the first Book Bucket store and has never known another name. Purist Book Bucket supporters have watched it evolve over the last decade, becoming a beloved fixture in the Peninsula’s reading community.

Initially located on Anzac Avenue (opp. Mon Komo) it has recently relocated but is still 'By the Bay', at the lower end of Sutton St, close to the RSL roundabout, water and the vibrant local neighbourhood.

Locals know it as a dependable place to trade books, find favourites, and chat with a team who knows their stuff. The store’s heart is built on long-standing community support, strong word-of-mouth, and the thrill of the find.

Tourists and day-trippers from Brisbane and beyond are often surprised by the range—fiction, memoirs, kids, classics, and everything in between—just moments from the waterfront and jetty.

The Book Bucket Bribie Island store receives large deliveries of books to be traded in.

Please visit and speak to staff in-store first to book a time for bulk delivery via the back loading bay.

For security reasons, unscheduled deliveries cannot be received and vehicle parking in the rear loading bay is otherwise unavailable.
